DUCKS COUNTRY HOUSE & VENUE: family owned since 1976.

Laying next to the river bank, embraced by majestic trees and a warm, intimate ambience, DUCKS COUNTRY HOUSE & VENUE was previously the family home of Johann & Irma Coetzee and their four children.

With Irma’s unique style & creative touch, she successfully converted their family home with its beautiful garden & romantic garden cottages, into a warm and welcoming guest house.  Owning and managing DUCKS COUNTRY HOUSE & VENUE for the past 15 years, Irma has deposited something extraordinary into this beautiful location.

André, eldest of the four Coetzee children, has recently taken over ownership of DUCKS COUNTRY HOUSE & VENUE.  Together with his wife, Melanie, they have expanded existing facilities to accommodate conferences, intimate celebrations and weddings.

DUCKS COUNTRY HOUSE & VENUE is indeed entering into a NEW SEASON!
